Western Training Solutions - Introducing New Micro Courses

Beginning November 4th, 2024 Western Training Solutions (WesternTS, WTS) will be offering one-hour training sessions we're calling Micro-Courses.


The launch of this new concept begins with Excel Level 1. We've taken the 6-hour session and broken it into 6 one-hour sessions.

What's it going to cost you? In keeping with our commitment of being western Canada's most affordable training school; WesternTS is offering a multi-purchase discount. A single course will be the standard price (email sales@westernts.ca for that price) or if you register for more than one session - you get a discount and it's a "good" discount!! There is a "value - add" to these courses. They come with access to the lessons in video format, plus you will have access to the files used in training which include step-by-step details, and keyboard shortcuts.


Delivery Format: Course are virtual classes using Zoom or Teams. Depending on the location,  in-person training can be arranged.

These sessions aren't video training. They're not webinars! There are no PowerPoint slides used in the presenting of these courses!! These sessions are interactive with a live instructor!




Self Assessment:

We've even got an assessment tool. What does the tool assess, you ask? Great question! WTS is actually going to test you to see what you already know, and we'll give you credit for the sessions you already know!! Imagine! WTS is going to save you time and money!! Once you've met the criteria of knowing/taking all six sessions - you earn your Excel Level 1 Certificate.


Just to be clear. If you assess at knowing 3 of the sessions, and you take the missing 3 sessions - you get a certificate for completing Excel Level 1! No need to sit through stuff you already know. Just learn what you need to learn! It's a radical concept - we know. But you've been asking for it, so we made it happen.

WesternTS Travels! All too often we hear from businesses, and organizations that they are too remote and no trainer will come to them. Well...Western Training Solutions travels to you! Office Refresher 2025 Working for a school board is a lot of work. Having value - added training offered at your location of work, is priceless! WesternTS journeyed to Norway House in August to refresh the their school division's staff. The requested topics took two days and everyone walked away with new tips and tricks, new skills, and a clearer understanding of how some of the software actually works. Topics covered in those two days included: Using Outlook efficiently and understanding Email Etiquette Using Word's efficiencies to work smarter and not harder AI in the workplace Microsoft Forms Excel efficiencies and using introductory to intermediate skills in spreadsheets It was a packed two days but everyone learned something new and felt refreshed and ready to begin the new school year. Western Training Solutions was happy to accommodate the training. Getting to know amazing people and organizations is an added bonus for all involved!
